Rose Marie Klobuchar

Age 95, formerly of Shaler, entered into her eternal kingdom on August 14. 2023. She is survived by her sister Agnes and many loving nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Agnes Klobuchar and her siblings Victoria Vuchank, Agnes Klobuchar, Angeline Heinl, Josephine Johns, Edward Klobuchar. Rose was a very devout Catholic and lived her life accordingly. She was very prayerful and made multiple trips to Medjugorje and loved to travel the world. She was fuller than life and loved to dance, especially a mean polka. Her neighbors were so grateful for her abundant garden that she would maintain. She also coordinated blood drives for Central Blood Bank for many years. Rose retired as a physical education teacher from the Pittsburgh City Schools where she worked for many years but she continued to be a teacher of her heavenly Father for the rest of her life. Her Prayer Group friends will miss her terribly.  

Celebrate Ms. Klobuchar’s life with her family on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Thursday at 10:30 AM. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horn Rd., Pittsburgh PA 15237.
