Robert Kopler

Robert "Bob" Kopler died peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. He was 81. Bob was the beloved husband of 57 years to Sandra L. Kopler; father of two sons, Robert A. Kopler, II and Randall S. Kopler. Bob started his radio career at age 15 in Johnstown PA. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps upon graduation from Johnstown Catholic High School. Bob spent over 45 years in the Pittsburgh media market winning numerous awards as a radio broadcaster and newsman. His last 19 years on the air were with KDKA-AM Radio as the morning news anchor.
