Patrick B. "Pat" Casper

Age 82, of Hampton Twp., on Thursday, September 26, 2024, Pat was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Martin Casper; father of Mary Lynn Stephany (Ken), Patrick J. Casper (Magdalena), Michael T. Casper (Bridgette); son of the late Peter M. and Elizabeth Casper; oldest of 5 siblings including Thomas Casper (Cheryl); grandfather of Ryan Stephany (Jessica), Meghan Stephany (Jack), Brandon Stephany (Natalie), Nichole Vanasdale (Jerry), Corey Casper (Brittany), Lauren Casper, Jeremy Casper; step-grandfather of Mateusz Lew; great-grandfather of Brayden, Blake, Brooke, and Grayson. 

Pat was the owner of Patrick B. Casper Insurance Agency representing Erie Insurance for 50+ years. He passed down his business sense and love of helping families with their insurance needs to his children, continuing his legacy in the insurance business. 

He was an avid golfer, being an original member of Treesdale Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed planning vacations for his whole family. What gave him the most enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Pat’s family would like to give a special thank you to all of the caregivers at Sunrise Senior Living and Ridgecrest Senior Living facilities as well as Bridges Hospice for taking special care of him. 

Celebrate Pat’s life with his family on Sunday from 2-7 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Monday at 12:30 PM. The family respectfully suggests donations be St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Rd., Glenshaw PA 15116.
