You may have known him as the mischievous farm boy who brought laughter to everyone he knew, but to the people closest to him, he was known as Daddy. He was a hard-working farmer, machinist, tool and die maker. He was a family man, the most loving and caring husband of 69 years to Eileen "Marshmallow" Schubert Fabrick, a dedicated father of 4 to Debbie Caplan, John Fabrick, Joan VanDyke, MaryLou "Moodle" Lavia, a grandfather of 16, and a great grandfather to 35. He was a folk guitarist who wrote and sang his own songs alongside his wife, leaving behind memories to all who were blessed to hear him play. We will always remember him for the stories he told, the songs he sang, and his never-ending love of sweets. Most of all, we will remember him for the love he shared with his many friends and family.
