Jean Boyle Rumpler
Age 82, of Etna, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Rumpler; step-mother of Robert Rumpler; daughter of the late Fred and Rosemarie Sichler Boyle; sister of Aileen Lyons, Marilyn Conwell, Carol Hoffman (Fred) and the late Rosemarie Luffey. She was a very proud and a very special loving Grandmother and Aunt. Jean had 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandaughter, 11 nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and nephews and 19 great-great nieces and nephews; dear friend of Sloba Matijevic and Laura Ploof. She was very much loved by her family, friends and neighbors, all feeling so blessed to be in her life. Jean was very grateful for all who loved her, all who walked this last journey with her and cared for her, including her sisters, nieces, especially Vicky and Mary Ellen, close neighbors, doctors, and hospice nurses Victoria, Pam and Marissa, Mrs. Rumpler was retired from Equitable Gas Co. She was a member of All Saints Christian Mothers, Etna Senior Center and Friendship Club.
Celebrate Jean's life with her family on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10 AM at All Saints Church, Etna. The family respectfully requests donations to the All Saints Stained Glass Fund, 19 Wilson St., Pgh PA 15223.
