Iman Khoury

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if he dies. He will live”. ( John 11:25)

Iman was born on December 30th, 1964 to Economos Father Michael and Khouryeh Amal Khoury in Jerusalem, Palestine. After Iman graduated from highschool in 1982, she obtained a bachelor of behavioral science from Mercy college in 1989.

Iman enjoyed the textile art of تطريز (Tatreez). Her house and her son's rooms were covered in her art pieces as a show of love to them. She loved cooking Arabic food for her family and had a specific love of cooking desserts. She loved her two sons dearly and would spend hours sitting with them and sharing stories. Iman's strength and strong spirit served as the backbone for her family and helped her face the many challenges her cancer brought upon them.

Services will be held at Saint George Antiochian Cathedral, 3400 Dawson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 on Friday, August 2nd, at 3:00pm to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Taybeh Churches, Muaddit@gmail.com
