Fr. Edward R. "Butch" Schleicher

Age 82, on Monday, November 21, 2022, Fr. Ed was the beloved son of the late Earl and Elizabeth Altenbach Schleicher; brother of Earl Schleicher (late wife Sara “Ann”); uncle of Timothy (wife Amanda), Scott (wife Jessica) and Luke Schleicher (wife Molly); great-uncle of Cameron, Elliott, Roman, Victoria, Jackson, and Alva Mae. Fr. Ed was ordained on June 25, 1983 by Bishop Vincent Leonard. He served at many parishes through out the Diocese of Pittsburgh. His last assignment was at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw. He was the chaplain of the Knights of Columbus Council 14722.

Celebrate Fr. Ed’s life with his family on Sunday from 3-7 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Rd., Glenshaw PA 15116, where Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 11 AM, Bishop David Zubik presiding.
