David R. Gillard

Age 75, of Cheswick, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, David was the beloved husband for 46 years of Kathleen Giel Gillard; son of the late Robert and Doris Repine Gillard; brother of Gary Gillard (Audra); brother-in-law of Norman and April Giel and Sue and Mike Neuman; uncle of Karen, Kevin and Kyle Giel. David was a retired clerk in the Cheswick Post Office. He was the former Fire Chief of the Cheswick Volunteer Fire Department. David was also a volunteer fireman with the Rockland (PA) Volunteer Fire Department.

Services are private. Arrangements are by PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Shaler Twp. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
