Of Oakmont, on Monday, April 27, 2020, Darko was the beloved husband of Christian Irwin Gataric; father of Stephanie Gataric, Rachel Gataric and Justin Irwin (Ashley); son of Pete and Ljubica Gataric; brother of Ljiljana Firko (Tim), Drazenka Gataric and Dubravko Gataric (Anna); grandfather of Lilly Cleary, Wyatt Darko Irwin, Elaina Irwin and Izabella Tihey.
