Carol A. Zurawka

Of O’Hara Township, on January 19, 2024, Carol was the beloved wife of Mark Rimmel and Cat-Mom to The Duke, Mischief, and many other felines now in Cat-Heaven. Sister of Ruth Westwood (Jim Tauberg) and Doris Zurawka (Gio Scolieri). Beloved aunt of Giovanni Scolieri. Daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Probst) Zurawka. Carol worked for Northern Area Multi Service Center for over 35 years and then for River Therapies. She will be dearly missed.

Celebrate Carol’s life with her family at Perman Funeral Home, 923 Saxonburg Blvd at Route 8, Shaler Township, on Monday from 4-6 PM.  The family asks that everyone to directly meet at a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church, O’Hara Township on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. The family respectfully suggests donations to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, 6926 Hamilton Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
